On January 4, 2014, 6 String Drag assembled on stage for the first time since 2004 and only the 3rd time since parting ways as a band in 1998. We jumped quickly into the studio two weekends later at Mitch Easter's Fidelitorium Studio in Kernersville, NC for a whirlwind 4 day recording session and all around hang out. The 12 songs were recorded mostly live in more of an old school record making fashion than most of today's "modern records" and consist of 10 brand new tunes along with two older songs that were never recorded for any album. Tape? Yeah we used tape as much as possible. The result is energy. You know, the kind of energy that people playing music together in the same space make. We hope to have the record to the public in late 2014. Stay tuned!
